Unexpectedly chanced upon Jian Zao Ipoh Curry Noodles at Jalan Besar which seemed to open recently in the same place
where Victor Fried Chicken and Mui Siong Minced Meat Noodles are in. And
there was no queue during my visit at lunch time!
My first encounter with them was at their 1st outlet at Ang Mo Kio, where I visited Chao Zhou Teochew Fish Soup 潮粥 and
Shinjitsu Ramen in the same coffee shop, and saw the crazy long queue.
Had the signature Ipoh curry noodles ($5.50) which was covered with pork belly, char siu slices, topped by shredded chicken, French beans and tau pok. The curry wasn’t too spicy. An aromatic bowl both looks and tastes
delicious. Very value of money and will be back to try out their dry version.
