Finally had the chance to try this Chai Poh carrot cake and it’s
really fragrant and yummy. We had the $5 one with prawns (small) for dine in
and dabao $4.50 (large, eggs only) version back. Both servings were SO
generous and could easily share between 2-3 people.
Thought the carrot cake would be drowned by the Chai Poh but it wasn’t
as much as I expected. Not a bad thing cos too much will be quite
overpowering. This was just nice!
Would order the $4.50 without the prawns
next time.
Took almost 50 mins on a early weekday from placing order to getting the
food but we didn’t wait much as we went to Block 928 for Laksa and back for
carrot cake. As per their FB page, carrot cake is usually sold out everyday
early so do estimate your time of arrival.
