True Breakfast 初早餐: Is it worth the long queue?

We arrived in a Sunday morning before it was opened at 9am (which is quite late for breakfast place) but there was already 10+ people in the front queueing. Waited almost an hour for the seat and finally the food.
Being a true born Taiwanese himself, E switched his order of hotplate noodles 鐵板麵 to this Tainan delicacy Guo Shao egg noodles 鍋燒意麵 because he said that it is quite rare in SG. The broth tasted like a watered down version of the Sha Cha sauce 沙茶醬 and wasn't too salty. There's egg, crabmeat and some meatballs inside. Interesting dish, but not something that I will have again. That said, I would love to try the original one in Taiwan one day, some day.
We were both disappointed by this carrot cake 台式蘿蔔糕. Small portion and the thickness wasn't right for E who commented that the ones more often seen in Taiwan are in the shape of cubes. This perhaps leaned towards HK style.
Likewise, we felt empty after having this Meat Floss Taiwanese Egg Omelette 肉鬆蛋餅 which was dry and short of fillings, if we compare it to the ones in most Taiwan breakfast shops.
Crispy Butter Thick Toast 奶酥厚片 is actually like a boluo bun but the texture of the toast was rough, dry and could do with a thicker layer of 奶酥. It also seemed slightly overbaked.
Overall, the food is rather underwhelming and a return is unlikely.
