Located in a air-con coffee shop in
Golden Sultan Plaza facing the road, this shop serves special Bee Hoon
soups that have garnered raving reviews. It was only after this visit that I realized it originates from Malaysia with over 5 outlets there and its first overseas outlet in SG.
The XO Seafood Bee Hoon Soup ($8.90) came with generous amount of seafood and the XO broth is as good as those other
seafood XO fish soups.
What amazed me the most was the chewy crystal bee hoon they
provided. Compared to the normal ones which are straight and
soft, this one has a curly appearance and springy bite. It went perfectly with the broth and would not get soggy despite having absorbed some flavors of the broth.
Would definitely want to go back and try out other items on the menu,
including Salted Egg Seafood Bee Hoon, Curry Otah Ball Bee Hoon, or Curry
Seafood Beef Hoon.
