这次的下午茶走的是少有的日式风。主打的是菜单由日本四季酒店Four Seasons Marunouchi, Tokyo 策划。副糕点师傅 濱本 佳秀さん 推出的日式的下午茶糕点,不仅仅是包含甜点而已,还有三文治、沙拉等。这个只有短短的两周的下午茶非常受欢迎。我能够订到最后的两张位子算是非常非常的幸运。所以便与好友J 女郎一同享用。虽然被安排到角落,旁边就是escalator...怪怪的feel。没法子,有位子好过在waiting list 苦等...
看到了sake了没? 原本看到饮料单上有sake 的选项,但是原来要加价$9。所以还是只好点包括在内的茶或咖啡了。
首先先来介绍开胃菜。。。可是其实我们却没有从这里开始吃起,但是以这种顺序回顾应该比较清楚。

呵呵。。。想不到厨师竟然一不作响地把白芦笋端出来。其实menu上面并没有写。许多人都没有发现。所以并没有那种“一扫而空”的状况发生。在与厨师询问后确定是white asparagus。迫不及待地放在自己的盘子里。

整体来说很不错啦,但是确实有一些很好笑的观察。有好几桌的人都抢先拿了蓝莓,到后来那个水果盘只剩下草莓。哎呦。。。还有一个香港妈妈跟女儿
香港妈妈:吃scones 要放这个(指devonshire clotted cream) .
女儿仔细的听,后来一个男的走过来,香港妈妈用英语对男的说:I'm teaching her how to eat scones, so that next time she will know how to do it.
wow...这应该是上流社会的太太正在培育 下一个 "to-be " tai tai

ReplyDeleteI am sorry to inform you that this is no longer available as it was for a limited time period of 2 wks in June. It was at Regent Hotel but I am sure there will be more themed afternoon teas coming up. So you can look out for them:)
