As one of the most Google-map-reviewed restaurants in the Entertainer app which provide 1-for-1 deals, there is no way we would miss it. The popular waffles and hotcakes are unfortunately not
within the deal scope. However, we were not let down by their brunch
and lunch menu.
PRAWN, MENTAIKO BELACAN PASTA ($21.9++) was one of the top
mentioned dishes online. It came with three large charcoal grilled tiger prawns and sakura ebi on top of creamy mentaiko butter sauce pasta. The tiger prawns
were well-roasted outside to the extent that it exuded a char aroma and the meat was sweet. Mentaiko Belacan sauce was
rich and savory but gelled everything nicely. An interesting and delicious
way to present the whole prawn concept.
CONFIT TOMATO & PESTO ($20.9++)
was a brunch item with burrata cheese, confit tomatoes, basil pesto on rye
toast and salad on the side. The taste is great; Burrata cheese matches
perfectly with the basil pesto toast. However, portion was a bit
disappointing considering its original price.
I would say this place is a must-go for Entertainer subscribers, though the food is slightly expensive without any promotion deals.
