Yamato Izakaya: Overpriced Japanese food near MRT Tai Seng Station

Found this place as we happened to visit the same industrial building and it had quite numbers of good reviews on Google Maps. The ambience was nice even when we came at a lunch time and we found many families who brought their kids there.
The best food we had here was this Unagi Mazesoba. Interestingly the unagi was grilled to a light crispness and the savory, slight spicy sauce that went well with the noodles. The accompanying soup was cloudy and on the salty side.
One special thing they had was the futago don (twin bowl), which basically was two different dons of your choice but each with a smaller portion. We had the gyudon and katsudon. Both of them were quite average and tasted like home kitchen dishes.
This Avocado Temaki (hand roll) had quite small portion of avocado inside while costing $6.9++..

Total damage for 3 dishes were nearly $80 after service charge and gst. This included a additional soup (for the unagi mazesoba) which was charged to our bill without informing in advance when it was spilled immediately after being served. Service wasn't very attentive and a return visit is unlikely.
